Other than a very chibified version, this is my first actual attempt at Solon.
I have to say this character tricked me. When he's introduced, I took the easy way and instantly connected him with Mauritz. Jay was the last character I'd have thought of. Only when I saw them on the same scene did I notice the...connection. (...have you kids noticed that Jay began "cosplaying" Solon AFTER he quit working for him? Don't you just love ToL's creepy character development?  ) |

Love the selective colouring.
I never did think of connecting him with Mauritz, though.
And I have a picture of Solon at home right now.....I need to upload it....but....it ended up looking....happy and cute and bubbly.....like everything else I draw.

You were the one who has the chibi! jay reference. Take a look at his hair THEN and compare it to the hairstyle he's got in game. Jay styles his hair after Solon, the only difference being Jay's hair is shorter. And Jay's ingame clothes resemble Solon's a LOT. (they only differ on color, and that Jay's are a little baggier and hip hop looking).
I thought of Mauritz because of his blond hair and white+blue clothes looked Ferines to me. And Solon's first scene is very Shirley-centric.
It all seemed so clear to me...am I imagining things?

As fhr the outfit...me and a bunch of other people thought it was about how Jay lacked a childhood, so he dressed like that now, because purple in a sense, is considered a 'childish colour', so he found comfort in it. (Other people have explained it so much better than me) And I think....that since Solon forced himself into Jay's life...Jay's still shaken from it and is still living in that 'shadow' that Solon created during his childhood. -could rant about this all day-
I think....the game's just too focused in Shirley. Though he did seem a little into her at that point.
And nope, I think it's all clear now~ ^^

something like that, didn't it?
Every time Solon opened his mouth I cringed. He's the creepiest thing on the Legacy.
